The Instructional Supervisor-District Assessment Coordinator coordinates and facilitates the implementation of Kentucky’s state required testing, as well as other district-wide assessment programs other than those assigned to other divisions; and to provide leadership and assistance in the development, implementation and coordination of the local school instruction program.
The District Assessment Office is responsible for coordinating the administration and collection of all state-mandated tests. Kentucky’s testing system includes a blended norm-referenced and criterion-referenced test called K-PREP which stands for Kentucky-Performance Rating for Educational Progress. This is part of Kentucky’s Unbridled Learning: College/Career-Readiness for All system.
End of Course Assessments for High Schools will continue to be part of the Unbridled Learning system. End of Course assessments are given in English II, Algebra II, Biology, and US History. Students will complete the assessments upon completion of the listed courses.
