The Assessment Office coordinates and facilitates the implementation of Kentucky’s state-required testing, as well as other district-wide assessment programs (other than those assigned to other divisions); and provides leadership and assistance in the development, implementation, and coordination of the local school instructional program.

The District Assessment Office is responsible for coordinating the administration and collection of all state-mandated tests.  The Kentucky-Performance Rating for Educational Progress (K-PREP) will be administered during the 2017-18 school year.  End of Course exams will be field tested for high school students in the areas of Algebra II, English II, and Biology.  The U.S. History EOC exam is temporarily suspended until new social studies standards work is completed at the state level.  Because the exams are field tested this year, no student performance levels will be generated from this year’s field tests.

Parents may request information regarding any State or local educational policy regarding student participation in any assessments mandated by section 111(b)(2) of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and by the State or local educational agency, which shall include a policy, procedure, or parental right to opt the child out of such assessments, where applicable.

*Visit the “Forms” page to view the Christian County Schools State and District Testing Timeline for testing windows (state-mandated and district) that are scheduled for the 2018-19 school year.
