The Teacher Corner

The Teacher Corner is an initiative that supports our educators with classroom essentials at no cost to the educator. The Teacher Corner is open for select shopping days each semester and is fully stocked for their classroom needs. Each educator is assigned "points" that allow them to "shop" for items based upon their individual needs.

MLK Early Learning Center/Inspire

The CCPS Education Foundation played a key role in bringing to life the Inspire Early Learning Center and supporting ongoing renovations at the new Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Learning Center- expanding access to early learning opportunities for all families in Christian County.

The Inspire Early Learning Center serves as a district-wide child care facility to Christian County Public Schools employees and industry partners.  It's mission it to ease the burden of finding reliable childcare while providing a high-quality, nurturing program that supports the growth and development of our youngest learners.

To date, the Foundation has contributed more than $83,000 to early learning in Christian County.

Bright Ideas Grant

The Bright Ideas Grant program empowers CCPS employees to bring innovative classroom and school projects to life.  Each year, the Education Foundation awards grants up to $500 per project to support creative ideas that enhance student learning and engagement.

In just two years, the Foundation has funded more than 30 projects, investing over $15,000 directly into CCPS classrooms.

All CCPS employees are eligible to participate and submit grant ideas.

Participants in the program receive tuition assistance in exchange for a commitment to serve as leaders within Christian County Public Schools.

To date, the program has awarded more than $7,000 in tuition support scholarships to participating educators.
